One such day we went to visit this garden.
The moment we left the crowded station area or the bustling stadium and entered the garden, the surrounding environment changed
drastically.
About 450,000 lilies of about 50 species can be seen blooming in the Tokorozawa Lily Garden.
During this early summer, flowers are in full bloom and you can see rows of flowers swaying in the wind across an entire hillside.
Large colorful butterflies can be seen roaming around, just as the bees come and go on the flowers.
Garden food stalls, flower information Centre (Lily a la carte), and flower shops are available in the garden area. Don’t forget to taste their special lily root Tempura which is quite delicious. A few hours of weekend break in such a quiet and serene environment would be enough to charge you up for the next hectic week.
